Growing up only 10 minutes from the Ottawa River put in, Dave is about as local as it gets.  His smoooth style has been developed over years of surfing the large variety of waves that the Ottawa offers up 7 months of the year.  On large waves Dave has a flow like others, if he’s not slaughtering inventive combos and hitting huge aerials he can be found but not reached doing chores at Uncle Loyd’s or milkin’ the home row one heffer at a time. The past few years Dave has been seen ripping his own shop made carbon kevlar kayaks.  Under the name “Black Sheep” Dave produces a specialty carbon boat, designed to shred big waves.
