Jakub is one of Europe's best creekboaters, haling from the Czech Republic but recently basing out of the United States.  Bouncing around the globe and running new rivers remains Jakub's greatest passion in life... He is also a film maker and produced the whitewater film "HONEST." Jakub works as a safety kayaker during summers and carpenter, builder, dishwasher and whatever he can find while he is not traveling in search for new destinations and rivers. He also takes part in organizing of Devils Extreme Race at Lipno (CZE) which holds the name of European Championships. He was involved in organizing the Freestyle World Cup in 2008 in Prague which had a big success.
